Packages Trimaran Introduction to sailing with WindRider
LEVEL : beginner
Something new WindRider: a safety matter!
Unlike other light sailboats, catamarans or classic drifters, WindRider is very easy to handle and its three-hull design makes it virtually impossible to capsize. This is a major characteristic considering the sailing conditions we generally encounter in the Mingan Channel and the surrounding area, where most of our activities take place.
Furthermore, WindRider's boom height (horizontal aluminum rod secured to the mast where the sail is attached to a sailboat) is well above the crew's heads so that there is no danger of being struck during tack or course changes as it may be the case with most classic sailboats. And finally, WindRider's polyethylene hull, an extremely shockproof and rugged material, makes it virtually indestructible.
For these considerations and more, WindRider is certainly the safest sailboat on the market today.
WindRider: a comfort matter!
Riding the wind with WindRider is the luxury of sailing very comfortably seated, and since it also features intuitive foot pedal steering, hands are free to hold charts, take pictures, eat or drink or simply admire the landscape.
The strength of WindRider lies in its incredibly user-friendly features and stunning safety. So, while comfortably in control, we can sail quite freely and concentrate on silently drifting along in the wind and marvel at the magnificence of the scenery, the odds of capsizing never entering one's mind.
Trimaran Wind Rider: a performance matter!
WindRider 17 innovative design gives quite an exciting sailing performance. It can make headway pour avancer) with very little wind as well as safely challenge strong winds and rough deep-sea conditions.
Among other outstanding WindRider 17 specifications: a load carrying capacity of 400 kilos and a very low/light/mild/weak draft for a sailboat (one foot) allowing landings on deserted beaches usually inaccessible to other sailboats, thus offering great camping possibilities, specially in our vast and wild land.
